Of Mâro-Ing

I sing of you, Great Mâro-Ing
of bright open field and deepest wood
of salted air and fresh cool streams
of blood soaked earth and final breath

O Famed-Ing, great lord
the wild boar and wilful bull are yours
Horned god who straddles earth and sea
of you come great men and kings

Earthborn god, lord Ing are you
riches of the hidden places belong
of gems and stones, of fruit and grain
life and wealth are your gifts to man

Elf-king they call you, Father of the barrow
lord if the dead, of blessed forefathers
of deep earth and dark sea are you
into your care given those of last breath

Great god, of earth and sea
Famed-Ing, of life and death
Wild lord, of boar and bull
Grant us long rich life
with soft quiet death
